Sports, Music, and Hiking: Blagoevgrad Prepares a Busy Weekend with the 'Come to Blagoevgrad' Program

Blagoevgrad will be a center of active experiences over the upcoming weekend. As part of the "Come to Blagoevgrad" initiative, the city offers a program that combines sports, culture, tourism, and entertainment for the whole family.

Despite changes to the schedule due to the weather forecast, the program remains rich. Saturday begins at "Porter Park" with the "Screen-Free Fun" event, organized with the "Skapto Sport" Children's Sports Academy. Children will enjoy sports games, while parents participate in Tabata workouts. The program also includes table tennis, badminton, and demonstrations by gymnasts from the "Pirin" club. An important part of Saturday is also the children's book exchange campaign, "Bring – Take a Children's Book."

On Saturday evening, starting at 20:00, the city center will come alive with the "Street Party" on "Sando and Petar Kitanov" Street, providing an opportunity for informal gatherings and a musical atmosphere.

Sunday is aimed at nature lovers. Starting at 08:00, hiking trips will begin along the "Krasta" and "Svetlina" eco-trails. The evening program will conclude with cultural highlights: reading children's books in the garden next to the Chamber Opera, followed by an acoustic concert by students from the "Presto" Music School at the Bridge of Lovers. The weekend finale will feature dancing under the stars with the participation of Elena Dzhampalska.

According to the organizers, the goal of the initiative is not only to offer quality leisure time but also to promote Blagoevgrad as an attractive place for living, education, and career development, encouraging people to choose the region as their home.
