Relations between the US and Iran are entering a dangerous phase, characterized by uncertainty and a lack of diplomatic breakthrough. According to a new report cited by The Washington Post, US intelligence defines the current state of both sides as an "uncertain state between war and peace."

The analysis, prepared significantly by CIA specialists, shows that the intensity of US military actions will not lead to the concession from Tehran that some politicians expect. Sources familiar with the assessments emphasize that it is unlikely the Iranian government will soften its negotiating position or be seriously undermined by the current strikes.

Although Iran has lost key leaders and part of its military potential as a result of US and Israeli strikes, the regime is managing to maintain control over power. At the same time, increasing internal divergence is observed within the Iranian leadership: serious contradictions are reported between pragmatic political circles and the "hardliners" of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Experts emphasize that these analyses are not specific predictions for the future, but rather an attempt to define current trends in one of the most dynamic and unpredictable conflicts in the region.
