The results of the XVIII edition of the 'Health Ambassadors' competition are now known, demonstrating large-scale civic activity among the younger generation in Bulgaria. A total of 76 projects were ranked, covering a wide spectrum of activities aimed at prevention and the building of healthy habits.

The initiatives of children and youth are extremely diverse. Students have organized not only sports competitions and tournaments, but also interactive training, scientific demonstrations, creative campaigns, as well as digital educational materials. Notably, there is a presence of environmental actions and volunteer activities, which shows a multifaceted approach to the concept of health.

The projects are distributed into three main age categories:

  • Group I (Grades 1-4): 24 projects;
  • Group II (Grades 5-7): 17 projects;
  • Group III (Grades 8-12): 35 projects.

One of the most significant aspects of the competition is its wide geographical representation. Participation is not limited only to large urban centers such as Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Plovdiv, and Stara Zagora, but also includes students from small settlements such as villages in different parts of the country. According to the Ministry of Health, this proves the high motivation of school communities across the country to increase health culture among young people.
