Successful Debut for Ludogorets in the Women's Champions League: 3:0 against Klaksvík

Ludogorets (Razgrad) made an impressive debut in the Women's Champions League, recording a 3:0 victory over Klaksvík (Faroe Islands). The match is part of a mini-tournament in the Kosovan city of Mitrovica, where only first place ensures progression to the second round.

Under the guidance of coach Hristos Dokov, the girls from Razgrad dominated from the start. The first goal came in the 36th minute via Monika Balieva, who capitalized on a rebound following a shot by Zehra Yılmaz. Shortly before the end of the first half, Balieva won a penalty, which Mariela Petrova successfully converted to make it 2:0.

Continuing strongly in the second half, Ludogorets sealed the result in the 63rd minute. Bianka Demirova intercepted a precise pass from Nadezhda Ivanova to score the team's third goal.

Although the Klaksvík goalkeeper made several important saves against Balieva and Polina Demirova, Ludogorets controlled the flow of the game until the end. The next challenge for the Razgrad women is on July 25 against the hosts Mitrovica, who in the same tournament crushed the Moldovan side Zimbru 10:0. The winner of the upcoming match will fight for a place in Group 6 of the next stage.
