Rhodope Spirit and Ancient Traditions: Trigrad to Host the 'Orphic Mysteries' Festival

The Devin village of Trigrad is preparing to host one of the most significant cultural events in the region – the traditional 'Orphic Mysteries' festival. This year, the gathering will take place on July 24 and 25, offering visitors an authentic experience in the heart of the Rhodopes.

The weekend program promises to be packed with cultural experiences. Guests will be able to enjoy a rich musical program, performances by folklore ensembles and dance formations, as well as spectacular Kukeri and fire shows that recreate ancient traditions.

The official opening of the festival will be on July 24 at 7:00 PM in the center of the village. The first day will begin with the participation of local amateur folklore groups, which will set the rhythm for the celebration.

In addition to the cultural program, the festival is an excellent opportunity for tourists to experience the local color. Visitors will have the chance to taste traditional Rhodope cuisine, explore local crafts, and enjoy the emblematic views characteristic of this magical region.
