Marvel's Wolverine: Insomniac Games reveals new trailer for upcoming action hit

Insomniac Games continues to build anticipation around its next big project – Marvel's Wolverine. In a new latest trailer, released on July 17, PlayStation 5 fans can get a closer look at the intensity of the battles and the scale of the world in which Logan's story will unfold.

Although the video does not reveal fundamentally new mechanics, it confirms that players will encounter a variety of legendary characters from the Marvel universe. Names such as Mystique, Sabretooth, Lady Deathstrike, and Jean Grey are mentioned among them. The plot will place Wolverine in the role of a savior for young mutants who have become targets of pursuit by Bolivar Trask's men. One of the key locations in the adventure will be Madripoor – the mutant criminal paradise.

The project is being developed by a team that includes staff who worked on the successful Marvel's Spider-Man series. According to Ryan Schneider, Strategy Director at Insomniac, the goal is to maintain the character's popularity while simultaneously offering an original experience that carries the studio's unique signature.

Marvel's Wolverine is planned for official release on September 15, 2026, exclusively for PlayStation 5.
