New Marvel's Wolverine Trailer: Insomniac Games Reveals Plot Details at Comic-Con

The action-adventure Marvel's Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games, has become one of the most discussed topics at San Diego Comic-Con. The studio presented a new trailer that gives a clearer idea of the plot and the dark atmosphere we are about to experience in the game.

The new footage places Logan at the center of intense clashes with iconic figures from the Marvel universe. We see hints of encounters with Jean Grey, Lady Deathstrike, and the ninja criminal organization "The Hand". The trailer confirms that the game will follow the hero's international journey, including a visit to the criminal island of Madripoor.

According to Ryan Schneider, franchise director at Insomniac, the project is being developed as a "standalone game" that does not simply follow the formula of their successful Spider-Man titles, but seeks a more original way to interpret the character. The focus will be on fast and brutal combat based on Logan's adamantium claws.

The team has also prepared additional content in the form of a digital comic prequel, which will reveal the hero's past and his connections to the X-Men. The music for the game has been entrusted to David Fleming, and the soundtrack will be dynamic and adapted to the intensity of the battles.

Marvel's Wolverine will be exclusive to PlayStation 5, and its expected release date is September 15, 2026. Players can already add the title to their wishlist in the PlayStation Store.
