A new dispute regarding access to information that could change the direction of global markets is escalating within American political and financial circles. Mark Warner, the leading Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, has called on major banks and investment institutions on Wall Street to boycott a new paid service from the social network Truth Social.

The issue stems from the new 'Truth API' service introduced by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG). It promises its subscribers exclusive, rapid, and early access to posts from the platform's most influential profiles, including those of Donald Trump. Since the American president's statements often trigger immediate reactions on financial exchanges, the senator warns that this creates a "disturbing form of information asymmetry."

According to Warner, selling privileged access to the messages of a state leader—which directly influence government policy and markets—is ethically questionable and may serve only the president's personal financial gain. He urged leading US financial associations to publicly distance themselves from this offering.

Reactions from the financial sector are already being noted. Sources from major American banks, quoted by Reuters, state that they do not plan to subscribe to the service. According to them, purchasing this type of "fast information" represents a different kind of risk compared to standard market data, as it is effectively a payment for early knowledge of political decisions.

The price of the service is significant—according to information, the monthly fee could reach $100,000, with discounts offered for long-term contracts. Given that a trust controlled by the Trump family holds a significant stake in TMTG, the question of a conflict of interest remains at the center of attention for regulators and investors.
