Water problem in Maglizh: water remains unfit for drinking and cooking

Residents of the Maglizh municipality must still be careful with water consumption, as it remains unfit for drinking and food preparation. The reason for the ongoing problem is a technical failure in a dosing device responsible for the disinfection of the water supply.

The crisis began on Monday, after the Regional Health Inspection (RHI) – Stara Zagora identified deviations in the microbiological indicators of the water. To confirm the state of the resource, repeat samples were taken on Tuesday, the results of which are expected within the next two to three days.

From "Water Supply and Sewerage," they notified that measures have already been taken to resolve the accident. A new dosing device has been ordered, and its installation will be carried out immediately upon delivery. The municipal administration predicts that the normal disinfection process will be restored in the coming days.
