Viktor Grigorov is ready for his professional debut in Brave: "I go, I win, and I come home"

The Bulgarian MMA scene will be in the spotlight on August 1, when a major event from the Brave series takes place in Burgas. One of the most promising young fighters, Viktor Grigorov, is fully prepared for his professional debut.

The 19-year-old fighter will face Shukurulo Manonov. The change in Grigorov's opponent became a reality recently, after the initially planned rematch against Blagoy Lachev was canceled due to a shoulder injury to Lachev. Grigorov wished his colleague a speedy recovery but emphasized that he does not underestimate his new opponent.

"The new opponent has two fights that end in a rear-naked choke in the first round. One win and one loss. I haven't been able to see much of his game, other than that he focuses on grappling. He is also good on his feet. I don't underestimate him. You will see an interesting match," Grigorov shared.

The fighter's preparation is intensive – he trains at "Ruse Fight Club" under the guidance of Svetlozar Savov, complementing his training with camps in Varna at Nikolay Dobrudzhanski's academy. His year so far has been extremely successful, including a triumph in a grappling tournament where he defeated the experienced Rusi Minev.

After the bout in Burgas, if there are no injuries, Grigorov plans to participate in a charity tournament on August 8 at Vladi Genov's gym, where he will fight Stefan Milenov in support of a deceased boy's family. The young fighter demonstrates high motivation, stating that he is ready to take part in matches even on short notice.
