The Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, has officially confirmed the composition of the country's new government. Serhii Koretsky will head the cabinet, according to Ukrainian media.

Despite the approval of the new cabinet, key ministries remain empty. The positions of Minister of Defense and Minister of Foreign Affairs are still vacant, as candidates for them must be proposed directly by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Currently, the candidacy of the former Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klimenko for head of the military department is being discussed, but the President emphasized that the decision is not yet final. Meanwhile, protests are being registered in Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities against the removal of the former Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov. Reznikov enjoyed great trust, with his expert experience considered a key factor in the country's military successes.

In the new structure, Denys Shmyhal retains the post of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy. Another important change is the appointment of Vsevolod Chentsov, the former representative of Ukraine to the EU, as Deputy Prime Minister responsible for European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
