Ukraine launched a series of strikes on oil infrastructure in Russia's Stavropol region

Ukraine has escalated its attacks against Russian energy logistics, striking three oil depots in the Stavropol region within a week. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the operations were carried out by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and targeted facilities supporting Moscow's military operations.

The strikes on fuel infrastructure are occurring at a moment of intense escalation. The Russian army launched a massive strike with ballistic and hypersonic missiles against Kyiv and its suburbs. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported that this is the largest ballistic missile attack since the beginning of the full-scale war, resulting in casualties and injuries.

Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha called on the international community for "crushing pressure" on Russia, emphasizing the need for stronger responses to the Kremlin's terrorist actions.

In addition to the strikes in the Stavropol district, the Ukrainian armed forces also hit two oil tankers in the Black Sea and a floating crane in the Sea of Azov. These targets have been identified as key to the supply of Russian military units.
