Tyson Fury: Current champions received their titles "ready-made"

British heavyweight superstar Tyson Fury did not spare sharp criticism for the current champions in boxing. In an interview with ESPN, he claims that none of the current title holders won their belts the right way.

According to Fury, the current leaders in their categories had their titles "gifted" to them, instead of earning them in battles against the best in the sport. As examples, he pointed to Fabio Wardley, Daniel Dubois, Agit Kabayel, and Murat Gassiev, emphasizing that they have not faced real challenges to reach the top.

"All these boys were just gifted the titles. They haven't actually fought anyone to win them," the Brit stated.

Fury supported his position with a metaphor, highlighting the difference in their careers: "How can they even compare these boys to me? I fought the legends of boxing and beat them. They are in their little group, and I am at the top of the Empire State Building."

The former champion added that he has no interest in fights with these boxers, as he believes they bring neither the financial value nor the prestige to justify such a risk.
