Transfer Battle for Makoun: Levski Rejects Initial Terms from Turkish Club
The transfer market surrounding Levski defender Cristian Makoun is heating up. According to information from "Match Telegraph," a new realist in the Turkish Super League – Corum – has sent an official offer for the Venezuelan, but the terms of the deal have not yet reached an agreement between the two clubs.
The Turkish club is offering a sum of 1,500,000 euros, proposing a payment plan in two installments. However, the "Blues" will not agree to this schedule. Levski's demands are either for the amount to be paid in a lump sum or for the total transfer value to be increased to compensate for the deferred payment.
Makoun is a key figure in the team's defense, having played 24 matches last season. Although his commitments to the Venezuelan national team hindered his full preparation, the defender is already showing stability, having started in yesterday's match against Dunav.
While the Venezuelan's name has also been linked to larger Turkish clubs like Trabzonspor, negotiations with Corum appear to be the most realistic scenario. A resolution to the case is expected next week, with the chances of a transfer estimated at over 50 percent.
