The Varna Derby and Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Clash in the Upcoming First League Round

The Varna Derby: Cherno More vs. Spartak

On Sunday, at 19:00, Cherno More will host Spartak Varna in the city derby, taking place in the second round of the First League. Both teams started the new campaign with draws: the "sailors" drew 1:1 in Vratsa, while the "falcons" shared the points with CSKA 1948 with a 2:2 result.

Squad Difficulties for "Ticha" and "The Falcons"

Ilian Iliev's team went through a serious transfer campaign with ten new additions, but is still striving for better interaction between the lines. Cherno More will participate in the match without Celso Sydney and Jorge Padayya, who are still recovering from injuries.

Spartak Varna also has an updated squad after attracting 16 new players. Coach Goko Hadzhievski will not be able to rely on Jonathan Hurtado, who is suspended, as well as on Jose Boa and Zakaria Tindano, who are not in the squad.
