Svishtov Municipal Council to donate two cars to local police

Municipal councilors in Svishtov support the mayor's initiative to strengthen the technical capabilities of the local police. The official donation of two used passenger cars to the Svishtov District Ministry of Interior Department is upcoming.

According to the draft resolution, which will be discussed in the local parliament, the vehicles will be handed over to the Veliko Tarnovo Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior. It is planned that the vehicles will serve the needs of inspectors from the "Criminal Police" group, as well as employees in the Child Pedagogical Unit.

The documents specify the exact models – two "Skoda" brand cars. The mayor of the municipality is authorized to conclude the contract for the gratuitous transfer of ownership in favor of the Ministry of Interior.

The donation procedure will pass through the relevant committees of the Municipal Council, and the final decision is expected to be made during the regular July session of the city parliament.
