State of emergency in Russian Nevinnomyssk region after drone strike on Wildberries warehouse

A state of emergency has been introduced in the Russian region of Nevinnomyssk following a massive fire in a Wildberries logistics warehouse – one of the largest online retailers in Russia. According to preliminary data, the incident is the result of a drone attack.

According to information from the regional governor and local witnesses, between 20 and 30 explosions were heard in the area. The fire in the warehouse base remains active, which is complicating firefighting efforts. At this moment, eight casualties from the incident are confirmed.
