Police prevent mass conflict following noisy party in a village near Veliko Tarnovo

Officers from the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior – Veliko Tarnovo managed to prevent an escalation of tension following a noisy event in the village of Radanovo, Polski Trambesh municipality. The incident was serious and necessitated the emergency presence of multiple police teams.

Everything took place on Saturday evening. Around 11:30 PM, a report regarding a disturbance of the peace in the settlement was received at the district police station in Polski Trambesh. The police team arriving at the scene found a group of men listening to loud music, who reacted with cynicism and insolence toward the officers when an intervention was attempted.

The situation was tense enough to require the redirection of additional forces from Pavlikeni, Gorna Oryahovitsa, and the central headquarters in Veliko Tarnovo to control the situation.

As a result of the intervention, five men between the ages of 16 and 58 were detained. They have been held for up to 24 hours under the Law on Administrative Violations and Punishments. Pre-trial proceedings for hooliganism have been initiated regarding the case.
