Nighttime Altercations in Stara Zagora: Sound Systems Seized Due to Noise Violations

Police services in the Stara Zagora region conducted a series of inspections last night, prompted by reports of nighttime noise violations. The result of these actions was the seizure of sound equipment and the issuance of administrative fines.

The first incident was recorded shortly after midnight on July 17 in the Lozenets neighborhood. A report was filed regarding loud music coming from a residence on Bratan Street. A 40-year-old man was found at the scene, against whom an act was issued for violating the municipal ordinance on public order, and the loudspeaker was confiscated by the police.

About two hours later, teams responded to a new report in the same neighborhood, but on Planinets Street. There, a 21-year-old man was identified, who was also sanctioned, and his sound equipment was seized.

The third case occurred in the village of Cherna Gora, Bratya Daskalovi municipality. Police from the Chirpan Police Station responded to a noise report and issued an act to a 58-year-old man. However, the inspection was accompanied by an escalation – the man displayed aggression toward the officers, which led to his detention for 24 hours. An act under the Ministry of Interior Act was also issued against him.

The Regional Police Directorate in Stara Zagora emphasized that duty teams will continue to respond to any disturbance of the peace to maintain public order in the region.
