New Management Personnel Before the Burgas Municipal Council: Three New Medical Facility Managers Proposed

A final step has been taken in Burgas towards determining the new leaders of three of the most important municipal health institutions. The Mayor of the city is proposing that the Municipal Council approve the candidates for managers of the Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Lung Diseases, the Mental Health Center, and the Complex Oncology Center.

According to the official proposals, Dr. Anelia Dimitrova has been proposed as the head of the Specialized Hospital for Lung Diseases. Dr. Nadya Zhelyazkova has been nominated to manage the "Prof. Dr. Ivan Temkov – Burgas" Mental Health Center, and Dr. Nikolay Kiselkov is proposed to lead the Complex Oncology Center.

The selection of the new managers is the result of work by specialized commissions that analyzed the development concepts for each institution. In evaluating the candidates, not only the current state of the medical centers was considered, but also their strategic visions for the future, management methods, and the ability to ensure financial stability.

Following the approval by the Municipal Council, the necessary actions will be taken to conclude the management contracts, which will ensure stability for the key health units in the region.
