Little Safety Ambassadors: Children in Svilengrad Distribute Brochures to Drivers
A large-scale initiative to increase road safety has launched in Svilengrad, with the youngest citizens actively participating. Children between the ages of 7 and 16 joined in the distribution of informative brochures aimed at vehicle drivers.
The activity is part of the preventive campaign 'Vacation Without Risk,' organized with the aim of reducing incidents during summer holidays. Participating in the distribution of advice are not only students but also representatives of local sports clubs, who carry the message: 'Be reasonable! Be careful! Move safely! Enjoy your vacation!'.
In addition to guidance for drivers, the initiative also covers training for children as road users. Together with police officers and employees from the MKBPPMN, young and older students were reminded of the basic safety rules for moving as pedestrians, cyclists, and car passengers.
