Large-scale Road Check: Over 14,000 Vehicles Checked by Traffic Police in 24 Hours
The traffic police are conducting intensive checks across the country, with over 14,000 vehicles inspected in the last 24 hours alone. This data was shared by the press center of the Ministry of Interior.
The checks revealed serious traffic safety violations. A total of 24 drivers were caught driving under the influence of alcohol, while six were apprehended after using narcotic substances.
Regarding documentation and traffic rules, Ministry of Interior officers issued over 4,000 citations for various violations, as well as 458 official acts. Police activity continues with the aim of improving road safety and preventing accidents.
