Kremlin: No signs of imminent resumption of peace negotiations with Kyiv

The Russian Federation sees no immediate opportunities for returning to a diplomatic path to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, stated Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. Although Moscow claims to remain open to the idea of negotiations, there are currently no concrete signs of such a process.

In a statement to reporters, quoted by Reuters, Peskov emphasized that Russia appreciates Turkey's role as a mediator and thanked Ankara for its readiness to facilitate the transition to a peaceful settlement of the situation. However, he clarified that no new diplomatic meetings are expected at this time.

President Putin's spokesperson also commented on the large-scale personnel changes in the Ukrainian administration. According to the Kremlin, the restructuring of Volodymyr Zelenskyy's government – including the appointment of new ministers of defense and government officials – will not lead to a change in the dynamics of the conflict unless Kyiv takes decisive actions aimed directly at achieving a peace agreement.

The conflict continues to be waged with high intensity, as front lines remain relatively stable, while both sides continue to strike the critical energy infrastructure and military targets of the opponent.
