Spain is at the top of the football world! The country's national team achieved a triumph that rewrote history after defeating Argentina 1-0 in the World Cup final. With this victory, 65-year-old coach Luis de la Fuente has become the oldest coach to win the world champion title.

After the match, De la Fuente did not hide his emotions from journalists. He emphasized the quality of the current squad, which under his leadership managed to dominate the international scene. "I am so proud of this generation of players who grew up with this philosophy, stayed true to it, developed it, and became an example of a team and a family. They are all excellent footballers, world-class players, and exceptional talents," the coach shared.

The Spaniards demonstrated incredible stability throughout the tournament, conceding only one goal in their eight matches. The final itself was tense – the match was decided only in extra time (the 106th minute), after Argentina was left with ten men due to a red card for Enzo Fernández.

Although the winners managed to lift the trophy, De la la Fuente also analyzed the difficulties: "We should have decided this match much earlier. This is a World Cup final and you have to give everything of yourself, even if you are playing against ten men. But we were prepared for every scenario."

Under the leadership of De la Fuente, who two years ago led Spain to the European title, "La Roja" finishes the tournament with a perfect image and the status of absolute masters of football.
