Hail Damage in Yambol Region: Application Process for Aid Begins
Farmers in the Yambol region affected by the recent storm and hail can now submit applications to establish damages. The document submission procedure has started at the municipal agricultural offices in the region.
According to information from the Regional Administration, initial inspections show serious damage to agricultural production. The situations are particularly severe in the lands of the villages of Kabile and Drazhevo, where sunflower fields were completely destroyed by the elements.
Once the necessary documents are submitted, expert commissions will be sent to conduct inspections of the affected areas. Based on these surveys, official reports will be drawn up to determine the exact extent of the damage caused.
The Governor of Yambol, Georgi Chalkov, emphasized the urgency of the situation and urged producers not to delay submitting their documents. The goal is for the inspections to begin in a timely manner to comply with the legally established deadlines for compensation.
