Green Indicators on the BSE: SOFIX Surpasses 1260 Points Amid Low Market Activity
The trading session on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended with an increase in the main indices on Tuesday, despite continued low market activity. The total turnover of the exchange stood at a level slightly above 535 thousand euros.
The main index, SOFIX, recorded a rise of 0.49%, reaching 1262.39 points. A similar trend was observed in the broader BGBX40 index, which rose by 0.83% to 215.77 points. The largest increase in the small and medium-sized enterprise segment was shown by the beamX index, which added 2.07% and reached 118.19 points.
Regarding individual stocks, "Wiser Technology" established itself as the leader in SOFIX with an impressive jump of 7.06%. In the broad BGBX40 index, the largest gain was reported by "Chaykafarma" (+8.22%), while "EMKA" was the biggest loser with a decline of 3.76%. A surprisingly strong jump of nearly 70% was noted for a "Pesera" share within the beamX index.
In terms of trading volume, "Eurohold Bulgaria" dominated with the highest transaction value – 110 thousand euros, followed by "Shelly Group". The most actively traded stock by number of deals was "Bulgaria Real Estate Investment Fund" (BRIF), with 33 transactions realized during the session.
The only index that did not report a change was BGREIT, which remained at the level of 235.59 points.
