Low activity on the BSE: Indices remain almost unchanged, turnover is below 500 thousand euros

The first session of the new week on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) ended with minimal fluctuations in the indices, reflecting weak trading activity in the market. The total turnover in the session failed to cross the 500 thousand euro threshold, reaching nearly 474 thousand euros.

The main SOFIX index reported a negligible decline of 0.01%, closing at the level of 1256.21 points. This confirms the trend of movement within narrow price ranges that we have been observing over recent weeks.

In contrast to SOFIX, the remaining market indicators noted positive trends:

• The index of the 40 most liquid companies BGBX40 rose by 0.1% to 214 points;
• The BGTR30 index added 0.56%, reaching 1073.89 points;
• The index of companies with a special investment purpose (SICAV) rose by 0.15% to 235.59 points;
• The small and medium-sized enterprises index beamX noted a more notable increase of 0.58% to 115.79 points.

Regarding trading turnover, shares of "Real Estate Fund Bulgaria" (RFEB) took a leading position with 95.75 thousand euros, and they were also the most actively traded asset with 85 transactions. They were followed by "Shelly Group" (60.4 thousand euros) and "Sirma Group" (12.5 thousand euros).

Among the largest price movements in the BGBX40 index, "Albena" stood out with an impressive rise of 15.52% and "Telelink Business Services Group" with 11.32%. On the other hand, the largest decline in this index was recorded by "Chaykafarma" with a decrease of 10.98%.
