End to the Zaniolo Saga: Italian International Signs New Long-Term Contract with Udinese

After days of uncertainty and negotiations that caused tension within the Udinese camp, Italian international Nicolò Zaniolo has officially renewed his contract with the club. The agreement puts an end to speculation regarding the attacking player's future.

The new contract is valid until June 2029, and includes an option for a unilateral one-year extension by the club. The development of the negotiations was complicated by the fact that Zaniolo missed the team's pre-season training while seeking better financial terms.

According to information from Sky Sport Italia, the new salary structure for the 26-year-old Italian will be divided into a fixed portion and bonuses linked to his on-field achievements. His remuneration is expected to reach approximately 2 million euros per season.

An important detail in the agreement is the clause related to his former club, Galatasaray. In the event of a future transfer of the player, the Turkish club will retain the right to 50 percent of the sale amount.
