Varna is preparing for a dynamic autumn aimed at consolidating the city and region's position as a leading tourist destination. The Tourism Advisory Council has approved a plan to hold eight large-scale initiatives that will cover various segments of the industry – from business tourism to gastronomy and technology.

One of the most significant events will be hosting the annual senior management meeting of the international TUI Group. Between September 24 and 26, over 150 company leaders are expected in Golden Sands to conduct their strategic meetings, accompanied by a sightseeing tour of the city.

The program also emphasizes the focus on future talent through the "Pagur" International Festival for Young Talents in Tourism. The event will bring together pupils and students from vocational schools across the country, offering competitions and masterclasses in the fields of cooking and service.

Traditional formats will also find their place. The Black Sea Tourism Forum, which has over an 18-year history, will bring together experts, business representatives, and the academic community. In parallel, the sector will be directed towards innovation through the "Tourism - Expo Destination Varna 2026" exhibition and a specialized masterclass on the topic of "Artificial Intelligence in Tourism."

For lovers of regional flavors, a City Wine Festival is planned for early October, which will highlight local winemaking and cultural heritage. To implement all these projects, the use of funds from the collected tourism tax is proposed, with the final decision to be made by the Municipal Council.
