Tourism Boom in Shumen: The Silver House and the Revival Complex Attract Increasing Numbers of Visitors

Shumen Municipality reports positive dynamics in the development of local tourism during the first six months of the year. According to current data, a steady growth is observed both in hotel overnight stays and in visits to cultural and historical landmarks in the region.

One of the key drivers of this interest is the Revival Complex on Tsar Osloboditel Street. The site, which offers an authentic atmosphere, is becoming a vibrant point for social events. The Silver House, a monument of culture and lifestyle, reports significant interest – over 550 people visited its exhibition during the half-year.

Diyana Yordanova, Director of the Municipal Enterprise "Tourism, Public Events and Attractions," noted that the house's interior is periodically updated, with new exhibitions dedicated to various ethnicities being added. The project is supported by both municipal funds and donations from local citizens and companies, with even private individuals offering personal items with a hundred-year history for preservation.

The municipal leadership's strategy is to transform Shumen's historical center into an attractive destination that is not just a museum, but an active space. Deputy Mayor Daniela Ruseva emphasized that through a diverse program calendar – ranging from wine tastings and creative meetings to quizzes and sports activities like Zumba – the old Revival houses are "coming to life."

Currently, various initiatives are operating within the complex, including the "Baba Rayna" reading club, art groups, and spaces for creative self-expression, which contributes to the growing interest of both local and foreign tourists in the city.
