A delegation of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) is participating in the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), organized at the US Congress in Washington. The main themes of the meetings are the fight against human trafficking and personal data security.

Before American Congressmen from the Republican Party and a special CIA agent, DPS representatives made serious allegations against Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev. According to the political formation, there has been an "unprecedented leak of data from the PNR system," which has been used to achieve personal political goals and has undermined the trust of international partners.

The delegation, led by the party's Deputy Chairperson Iskra Mihaylova, discussed with Congressmen such as Riley Moore and Christopher Smith the need for mechanisms to ensure that no Minister of Interior can abuse information from international registries. These measures were presented as critical for the effective prevention of child trafficking.

In addition to the data case, during bilateral meetings with representatives of the US Foreign Affairs Committee, strategic topics were also addressed: security in the Black Sea region, Bulgaria's commitments to NATO, transatlantic cooperation, and the country's position regarding support for Ukraine.
