Crisis at CSKA: Hristo Yanev admits poor performance and is ready to leave the club

The start of the season for CSKA has not met expectations, and the 'Reds' coach Hristo Yanev does not hesitate to admit the failure in the match against Slavia Sofia. After the 0:0 scoreless draw, the specialist pointed out serious deficiencies in the team's play.

According to Yanev, the team did not demonstrate a will to win and lacks structure. "Nothing was functioning. This is not the behavior of a team fighting for first place," the coach stated, emphasizing that the wing play was weak and the attack was ineffective.

The coach emphasized that he is aware of the fans' dissatisfaction and is ready to face the consequences of the current form. "I carry the responsibility. It won't be a problem if I am replaced. We are here to give our best," Yanev said, adding that the team's entire approach in Bulgaria needs to be reconsidered.

Despite the difficulties in the championship, Yanev attempted to prepare the team for the upcoming European challenge against Azerbaijan's "Qarabag" in the Europa League. He described the opponent as a serious adversary, worthy of Champions League level, and emphasized that the club's ambitions for the championship and success in Europe remain unchanged, regardless of the coaching staff.
