Creative Moments in Haskovo: Children Model Kukeri Masks from Dough at "Kirkovo School"
The "Kirkovo School" museum-house in Haskovo has turned into a center of creativity for the youngest. In just two weeks, the special "dough atelier" has welcomed 39 children, who used their imagination and skills to transform salty dough into dozens of unique Kukeri masks.
Each mask is an individual work reflecting the style of the young authors. The program of activities continues in the coming days – this Friday from 11:00 AM, children will face a new challenge, where they will model cute little owl figures.
In addition to the children's activities, the Regional Historical Museum in Haskovo also announced a change in the working hours of one of its sites. Starting in August, the Museum Center of Thracian Art, located near the village of Aleksandrovo, will switch to a 7-day working week. The site will be open from 08:00 to 18:00, including Mondays, allowing visitors easier access to the treasures of Thracian culture.
