Cinema Statistics in Bulgaria: Nolan and Spielberg in Top Cinema Rankings
The film industry in Bulgaria is reporting significant interest in major international productions. According to the latest cinema attendance data, viewers are more in demand than last year, with the total number of visitors over the past weekend reaching 55,794 people compared to 39,728 for the same period last year.
At the forefront of interest is Christopher Nolan's epic adventure "Odyssey." The film, which has already generated over 250 billion dollars worldwide, has been watched by 32,815 Bulgarian viewers, with revenues in the country exceeding 270,000 euros.
Among the most successful titles in terms of revenue and total number of viewers are:
- – the biographical film about the pop star is the absolute leader with 1,286,315 euros in revenue and over 177,000 viewers.
- – the sequel to the classic is also a strong hit with 202,310 viewers and revenues of over 1.4 million euros.
- – the animated title leads the ranking in viewers with 87,049 attendances.
Other popular titles in the top 10 include "Moana," "Possession," "Evil Dead: Ashpurged," "Toy Story 5," "Upstairs Neighbors," Steven Spielberg's "Day of Truth," and the comedy "The Devil Wears Prada 2." The statistics show the diverse structure of the Bulgarian audience's interests – from animation and blockbusters to biographical dramas and thrillers.
