Change in the weather pattern: Weather will stabilize on Thursday, but rain is expected on Friday

On Thursday, the weather in Bulgaria will undergo a period of relative stabilization, followed by a more dynamic situation on Friday. According to the forecasts, the day will start with predominantly sunny weather, but in the afternoon, cumulonimbus cloudiness will develop.

Regional features for Thursday:
In Central Northern Bulgaria, in the eastern and mountainous regions, short rain showers are possible, and thunderstorms may be heard in isolated places. Maximum temperatures will vary between 25°C and 30°C, with Sofia being around 26°C. Minimum temperatures will be in the range of 11°C–19°C.

The Black Sea coast and the mountains:
The coast will be predominantly sunny, with lower visibility in the morning in the northern part. Air temperatures along the Black Sea will reach 24°C–28°C, and the sea water will be at a temperature of 25°C–26°C. It will be sunny in the mountains, but in the Rila-Rhodope region, rainy clouds and local showers with thunderstorms are expected.

Expected for Friday:
On Friday, the meteorological situation will change again. Large-scale cumulonimbus cloudiness will develop, which will lead to showers and thunderstorms in many places across the country. There is a possibility that the precipitation will be temporarily intense.

Europe and the world:
In the Balkans, it will be predominantly sunny, with short-term showers in the northern and central parts. In European capitals, temperatures will be diverse: up to 31°C in Athens, 27°C in Belgrade, 26°C in Bucharest, and 28°C in Istanbul. In Western Europe, sunshine will prevail, while rainstorms are expected in Central Europe.
