Chain accidents blocked the Burgas – Sozopol road: A massive traffic jam is forming

Two consecutive road traffic accidents have caused serious difficulties in traffic on Republican Road 99, on the section between Burgas and Sozopol. The incidents occurred in the direction towards the sea, in the area of the turn for the Kraimorie district.

The first incident was between two passenger cars. Immediately following it, likely due to the complicated road conditions and the drivers' attention, a second incident occurred involving three more vehicles.

As a result of the two accidents, long columns of cars have formed on the road, and traffic is almost blocked. Police teams have arrived at the scene, conducting inspections and establishing the exact causes of the chain collisions. Glass and vehicle parts are scattered on the road surface.

According to initial information from the authorities, there were no casualties in the incidents, with only material damage caused to the vehicles. Drivers traveling on the Burgas – Sozopol route are urged to drive with increased caution and to expect significant delays in their journey.
