Boyko Borisov attacks the government: "Budget of Deception" and ridiculous declarations
Boyko Borisov, leader of GERB, leveled serious accusations against the current cabinet, criticizing its diplomatic failures and economic policy. In a message published on social media, he questioned the legitimacy of certain political decisions and actions taken by the "Progressive Bulgaria" coalition.
One of the main focuses of his attack was the attitude towards the country's international commitments. According to Borisov, the recent "gaffes" regarding the Kyiv Declaration place Bulgaria in a ridiculous position before its key partners. He expressed bewilderment regarding the role of the Foreign Minister and the contradictions surrounding visits by coalition representatives abroad.
Regarding the economic situation, the GERB leader called the new budget a "budget of deception." He claims that the rulers are artificially reducing state revenues, which is unusual during high inflation. Borisov emphasized that the European Commission has already signaled the existence of a super-deficit.
Borisov also made a critical comment regarding changes to the Election Code. He expressed skepticism about transferring responsibility for machine voting to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, comparing the situation to the Russian model. According to him, these changes could influence the results of the upcoming elections and give an advantage to the political allies of "Progressive Bulgaria."
In conclusion, Borisov stated that GERB is in "excellent condition" and is actively renewing its structures, preparing for upcoming political challenges.
