Chinese state investment institutions are taking massive steps to strengthen the local capital market. Two key corporations – China Reform Holdings and China Chengtong Holdings Group – have announced large-scale share buyback plans, which is a clear signal of Beijing's long-term confidence in its own financial sector.

According to available information, a subsidiary of China Reform Holdings has already directed over 50 billion yuan (approximately 7.4 billion US dollars) into the market. These funds, raised through special re-crediting mechanisms and coordinated funds, are strategically aimed at supporting technological innovation, with a focus on state-owned enterprises.

In parallel, China Chengtong Holdings Group has carried out acquisitions worth nearly 10 billion yuan in record-short timeframes. Both corporations confirmed that they will continue their massive operations, which include not only direct stock purchases but also investments in exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The use of ETF instruments allows for more flexible resource allocation across various economic sectors.

Beijing's strategy relies on a combination of equity and state credit instruments. The goal is twofold: ensuring higher liquidity and reducing market volatility, as well as stimulating investor optimism. Through these actions, the state seeks to protect financial stability and secure the development of strategically important, emerging industries.

Experts note that the actions of these two strategic pillars of the Chinese economy send a powerful signal to global participants that Beijing is ready to intervene with capital injections if necessary to maintain its economic momentum and technological leadership position.
