Alexander Bublik secures a spot in the Kitzbühel tournament quarterfinals
Alexander Bublik demonstrated stable form at the clay court tournament in Kitzbühel, Austria, after successfully overcoming Argentina's Facundo Acosta in the second round.
The Kazakhstan representative managed to win the match with a score of 6:3, 7:5, converting key breaks in each of the sets. The match lasted 79 minutes, during which Bublik managed to control his game, limiting Acosta's break opportunities. The Argentine, who is ranked 108th in the world rankings, had only two chances to win the leader's service in the main draw.
In the next phase of the tournament, Bublik will face Slovak Alex Molčan, who qualified after a three-set match against Germany's Daniel Altmaier (6:3, 3:6, 7:5).
The Kitzbühel tournament continues with surprises, as the third seed Arthur Rinderknech was eliminated in a match against Sebastian Baez, and the second seed Valentin Vashrou was defeated by Kenten Alis.
