AI Risk is Comparable to the Proliferation of Ballistic Missiles – Warning from JPMorgan CEO

Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co., expressed serious concern regarding the future of artificial intelligence and the risks associated with access to the most powerful technological models. During an innovation summit in Pennsylvania, Dimon made a sharp comparison, stating that providing unrestricted access to systems like Anthropic's Mythos could be equivalent to "providing ballistic missiles to individuals."

At the center of the debate is the Claude Mythos model, developed by Anthropic. Although the company uses it within the "Project Glasswing" security initiative to scan software vulnerabilities with the involvement of tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, and Apple, the question of how "powerful" a model should be and who should have access to it remains open and subject to government investigations.

According to Anthropic, their role is twofold: to help the software industry adapt to new threats and, at the same time, to provide tools for detecting and fixing critical security gaps. The project already covers nearly 150 organizations attempting to anticipate attacks carried out by "hostile" artificial intelligence.

Anthropic, founded by former OpenAI employees, has established itself as one of the most influential players in the sector. The company recently crossed the $965 billion market valuation threshold as it prepares for a potentially massive initial public offering (IPO).
