39-year-old man attacked an elderly woman in Kiten: the victim suffered a concussion

Attack in the resort town

A 39-year-old man attacked a 77-year-old woman in Kiten after a dispute arose between the two neighbors. The incident occurred on Friday evening, shortly before 8:00 PM, in a residential building on Parvi May Street.

A report of the beating was received by the Regional Police Department – Primorsko around 7:50 PM. Upon the arrival of officers, it was established that the man and the elderly woman lived on different floors of the building.

Medical condition of the victim and the attacker

As a result of the altercation, the man attacked the woman, striking her multiple times with his hands and feet on her body and head. The attack left the 77-year-old woman in a helpless state. She was diagnosed with a concussion and has been admitted for treatment to a hospital in Burgas.

The attacker has also been placed under medical supervision and admitted for treatment to the Mental Health Center – Burgas.

Legal consequences

Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated regarding the case.
