18-year-old driver hits 7-year-old child in Burgas

Yesterday evening in the city of Burgas, an incident occurred in which a 7-year-old girl was hit by a car in the 'Slaveykov' residential complex. According to information from the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior, the incident was registered around 7:00 PM in the area of block No. 56.

Behind the wheel of the car was an 18-year-old local resident who has only 10 months of driving experience. The child, who is from the village of Sadievo, Burgas region, suddenly stepped onto the roadway while running, which led to the collision.

Following the incident, the little girl was examined in the hospital. According to medical examinations, she sustained a concussion, but her condition has stabilized and she has been released for home treatment. The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the case.
