Bulgaria's domestic and foreign policies are currently emitting contradictory and dangerous signals to both international partners and businesses. This was emphasized by 'We Continue the Change' MP Yordan Terziyski in an interview with BNT.

According to the PP representative, the country is in a state of uncertainty regarding its participation in the so-called 'Coalition of the Willing,' which creates an impression of inconsistency. Terziyski added that such behavior is contrary to national interests and the aspiration for equality with other European nations.

The MP's criticism is not limited to diplomacy alone. He also pointed to the economic risks associated with adopting a budget with a 5.7% deficit, which inevitably leads to an excessive deficit procedure. According to him, these factors jeopardize Bulgaria's image and can have a direct negative impact on the lives of citizens.

Terziyski also outlined a deeper political problem, claiming that the current administration is attempting to balance between foreign interests and domestic political ratings, instead of being guided by a clear governance program and principles. He also questioned the government's decisions regarding sanctions packages, suggesting that the lack of clarity may serve to protect interests that are not in the country's favor.
