Two fatal accidents in the country: Deaths near Măglij and Plovdiv

Two serious accidents were registered in Bulgaria, in which two people lost their lives. The incidents occurred in different parts of the country and caused temporary traffic disruptions.

Tragedy near Măglij
The first incident occurred around 10:00 PM last night in the Măglij area (km 324+5 on road I-6). According to initial information, the accident was the result of a collision between a passenger car and a freight truck. Preliminary data indicates that the driver of the car died at the scene, while the passenger was seriously injured and transported to a hospital.

Police are investigating the theory of a risky maneuver – it is suspected that the passenger car attempted a U-turn directly on the road, which led to the impact. Due to the investigation and the clearing of the roadway, traffic on the Kazanlak - Gurkovo section was temporarily interrupted.

Incident in the Plovdiv area
The second fatal case was registered between the villages of Zlatitrapt and Brestovitsa. A young man between the ages of 35 and 40 died after losing control of his vehicle. The car overturned on its roof off the roadway. Emergency medical teams and police arrived at the scene, but the driver's death was confirmed immediately.
