A tense traffic situation is being observed at the border between North Macedonia and Greece, which has caused discrepancies between the testimonies of drivers on the ground and official data.

According to information from drivers stuck in queues at the 'Bogorodica' border crossing, delays are significant and last for several hours. One driver shared that they have been waiting in line for four hours, with similar testimonies being shared by other road users.

On the other hand, the Automobile Association of North Macedonia provides a more optimistic picture. In its official bulletin, the organization reports increased traffic intensity along road routes but specifies that the waiting time at the 'Bogorodica' crossing is around 30 minutes. A similar situation was described at the 'Dojran' crossing, while at 'Tabanovce', entering the country takes about 20 minutes.

The discrepancy in information is likely due to the dynamic development of the situation – the accumulation of vehicles may have occurred immediately after the association's morning report was issued.
