The world marked the 75th birthday of Robin Williams, one of the most influential comedic actors of the modern cinema era. The occasion for remembering the artist is combined with the approaching 12th anniversary of his death.

Zak Williams' Message

The actor's eldest son, Zak Williams, used social media to convey birthday wishes to his father. In his message, he highlighted not only Robin Williams' artistic talent but also his human side.

"Happy 75th birthday, Dad! Today I am remembering your quirkiness and your extraordinary ability to love," wrote Zak Williams. He called on fans to honor his father's memory through good deeds, adding: "Do something kind for someone. Make someone laugh. Bring a little more good into the world."

Career and Recognition

Robin Williams began his media career with the television series "Mork & Mindy" in the late 70s. Over time, he established himself not only as a comedian but also as a dramatic actor with great depth. Among his most significant roles are those in productions such as "Good Will Hunting," "Mrs. Doubtfire," "Bird Box," "Good Morning, Vietnam," "Dead Poets Society," and the voice acting in "Aladdin."

For his role as psychologist Sean Maguire in the film "Good Will Hunting," Williams won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

Difficulties Behind the Limelight

The actor passed away on August 11, 2014, at the age of 63. His death sparked widespread public attention regarding mental health and neurological diseases. His wife, Susan Schneider Williams, later revealed that the causes of his condition were more complex than ordinary depression and were related to a rare neurodegenerative disease that affected his brain.

Today, Williams' children – Zak, Zelda, and Cody – continue to support mental health causes and honor his legacy by supporting those in need.
