"Enchanted Forest": Moby shared magical footage from a Bulgarian mountain after concert in Plovdiv
American musician and DJ Moby turned his visit to Bulgaria into a small internet sensation. After closing out the first edition of the PHILLGOOD festival in Plovdiv, he shared a video on his social media networks in which he talks about a "magical" experience in one of our mountains.
In his post, the composer describes his journey as passing through a "strange portal in the middle of nowhere." Since he does not speak Bulgarian, he read the inscription on the gate as "Welcome to the enchanted forest." The video shows Moby walking up "ancient steps" toward a "magical hut," concluding with the emotional message "Thank you, wizard."
Moby's concert was the culmination of PHILLGOOD, which brought together over 45,000 people at the Grebnata Base in Plovdiv. The festival lineup included world-renowned names such as The Cure and Gorillaz, as well as numerous Bulgarian performers. The large-scale event turned Plovdiv into a musical capital, uniting music lovers of different ages and countries.
A similar spirit of gratitude was shared by the legendary The Cure, who, after their performance, sent a short but powerful message to the Bulgarian audience: "Bulgaria! Thank you!".
