Dance Triumph for "Gabrovche": Four Prestigious Awards at the "Folklore Spring" International Festival

Bulgarian folklore has once again proven its vibrant energy and artistic strength on one of the most significant stages in the country. The representative folklore ensemble "Gabrovche" returned in triumph from the "Folklore Spring" International Folklore Festival, which was held in the village of Tsarevec under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture.

In an environment that brought together thousands of performers from Bulgaria and abroad, the young dancers from Gabrovo managed to stand out with their stage presence and authenticity. The result is impressive: two first-place awards in different dance formations and two special distinctions that confirm the high level of the ensemble.

One of the most valuable recognitions comes directly from the Bulgarian National Television. The ensemble was honored with a special award and an official invitation to participate in the iconic program "Ide Nashenskata Muzika," which is a huge opportunity to popularize their talent.

The second special distinction was awarded by the Union of Bulgarian Music and Dance Artists, including a statuette and a cash prize. The performances of "Gabrovche" were subjected to strict evaluation by an expert jury chaired by Yulia Tsankova, which included authorities such as Acad. Prof. Dr. Elena Kuteva and Prof. Dr. Daniela Dzheneva.

This success is not just another trophy on the table, but proof of the team's perseverance and their mission to preserve and inspire Bulgarian folk tradition. With these distinctions, "Gabrovche" once again establishes itself as a worthy cultural ambassador of its city on the national stage.
