Public plea for collaboration

Bulgarian singer Dara has made an official plea to British producer, songwriter, and DJ Fred Again to co-create a musical project. The initiative began during her concert at the "Knyaz Alexander I" square, where the artist displayed a poster reading "Fred Again, let's collab".

Following the event, Dara continued her campaign on social media, asking her followers to tag him in comments under the musician's videos to increase the chances of contact. The request triggered a massive reaction, with over 20,000 comments left by fans under posts supporting the idea of a collaboration.

Who is Fred Again?

Frederick John Philip Gibson, known as Fred Again, is one of the most significant names in contemporary electronic music. Born in 1993 in London, he is the son of lawyer Charles Anthony Warnford Gibson and Mary Ann Francis Morgan. Among his ancestors are diplomats and representatives of famous British noble families.

His development began in the studio of the legendary Brian Eno, whom he visited regularly starting at the age of sixteen. His career is characterized by a unique blend of club rhythms with sound fragments from everyday life – voice messages, street noise, conversations, and excerpts from poetic works.

Before establishing himself as a solo artist, he worked as a producer for leading global names such as Ed Sheeran (including on the No.6 Collaborations Project), George Ezra, Rita Ora, BTS, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, Stormzy, Shawn Mendes, and Ellie Goulding. In 2020, he became the youngest BRIT Award winner in the history of the award.

As a solo performer, he has achieved great success with the Actual Life album series, the third of which was nominated for the prestigious Mercury Prize in 2022. Fred Again is also known for his appearances on the Boiler Room platform, which attracts millions of viewers, as well as large-scale events such as his concert in Perth before 35,000 people. He also collaborates with musicians such as Skrillex and Four Tet.

Prospects for a joint project

Despite the active support from the public, there has been no official response from the British musician so far. According to music experts, it is possible that the reaction may take more time, primarily due to Fred Again's busy schedule, which includes tours and appearances at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Primavera Sound, and Lollapalooza.
