After more than 30 years of waiting, the legendary duet between George Michael and Elton John may finally be presented to the public. According to Andros Georgiou, the longtime manager of the late pop icon, the 'This Kind Of Love' project is in the process of being prepared for completion.

Although the two performers recorded their vocal parts separately, the song was never finalized during their shared creative activity. Georgiou confirmed that he already possesses all the necessary materials and is now seeking official consent from Elton John to combine the two recordings into a finished audio product.

The bond between Michael and John is deep and has evolved over the years, starting from their iconic joint performance of 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me' during Live Aid in 1985. Following George Michael's death in 2016, Elton John has repeatedly paid tribute to his talent, describing him as one of the greatest songwriters and vocalists in British history.

The news of the unfinished song surfaced in the context of the new documentary 'Trojan Souls,' which examines the history of George Michael's unreleased 1993 album. According to the manager, 'This Kind Of Love' was one of the first projects Michael worked on, specifically because of the certainty that Elton John would be a part of it.
